Michigan Chess Academy is a young and premier chess organization for children and adults in Michigan. We offer a full range of chess services for all levels and ages, such as special classes for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced chess players, rated and unrated tournaments, simuls, friendly matches, group lectures, and individual lessons.
Michigan Chess Academy's mission is to provide for the chess needs of a varied cross-cut of people since
chess touches the lives of the young, the elderly and everyone in between as well as the rich, the poor, the employed,
the unemployed, men, women, the highly educated, those with little or no formal education, conservative individuals,
and those with a daring nature, We will strive to provide for everyone's chess needs.
We want to share our passion and enthusiasm for the game of chess with all of our students and customers.Some chess players are interested in tournaments, others interested only in skittles or casual play. Some players try to improve their game through lessons or classes while others progress more via utilization of books,
videos and/or CD's. Many players enjoy lectures and simultaneous exhibitions conducted by experts and masters. Our objective is to provide for the needs
of anyone who has an interest in and love for the game of chess.
We also sell a wide variety of chess supplies for tournament players, schools,
and clubs as well as specialized and one-of-a-kind sets for collectors or those who just may wish to decorate their home.
Our goal is to make your shop experience easy and informative, from the time you click onto our site,
